We don't hide it, we're proud of it:
Unlike other brands, we'd love to give you insight into where your favourite pieces are made. Everything starts with our designer who creates a design based on the latest trends and aligned with the Charlie Suede vision. After that, a detailed techpack is made and sent to one of our factories in Guangzhou, China.
All our factories in China are carefully vetted and have decades of experience and craftsmanship. Because we know it's not the country, but the factory that matters.
So why China?
Guangzhou, the region where our factories are located, are close to the biggest fabric market in the world. This allows us to create any pieces you can imagine. We even visit these markets and spend hours to find the most detailed buttons or sequins for 1 specific top.
Behind every order a story:
After a techpack is sent to the factory, a sample is made and revised to ensure comfort on skin, correct sizing and the right material is chosen. We are trying our best to avoid fabrics like polyester and take a more sustainable option instead. (although we have to admit this is not always easy)
Next, production is started and stock is sent to our warehouse to be shipped out. We love our 3PL and visit them often to ensure smooth manufacturing.
Finally, the order is sent and arrives smoothly at your front door.
